The Cini jewelry company produced beautiful jewels, predominately sterling silver pieces that feature classical, gothic and renaissance motifs and design influences. Between 1922 and 1970, Cini made some of the highest quality American jewelry of the 20th Century.

Cini produced a very popular series of pieces depicting the signs of the Zodiac, incorporating the spirit and symbolism of the signs into the jewelry's designs. This lovely, signed brooch is a part of that series.
